This Powerpoint resource for senior classes from Sea Life Bray focuses on food chains. It explains the different life processes that all animals have to carry out. As well as explaining what food chains are and showing examples of them, it also explains the vocabulary associated with them – producers, consumers, carnivores, herbivores, omnivores, predators, prey. It explains what food webs are and shows examples. It emphasises to pupils the effects that damaging the food chain can have on an animal or on another food chain.
