Twenty Steps Towards Language Development
Dympna Daly and Pat Scanlan (ed.s)
District XV INTO/Drumcondra Teachers’ Centre, 1988
This book details themes for oral language, presenting oral language lessons on the themes across the four class groupings in the primary school.
How do I get my hands on Twenty steps towards Development??
Thanks
Deirdre
HI Deirdre, I’d say you’d be lucky to get your hands on a copy of that book at this stage. You could try ringing Drumcondra Education Centre to see if they still have any copies, although I’d doubt it. Failing that, you’d need to find someone that has it that you could photocopy.
Hi Deirdre,
I think I have a copy so e-mail me and I’ll be able to help you out,
Stephen.
That’s a quick result! Well done Stephen!
Hi Stephen,
Would you email me a copy too as I am doing a lot of oral language this year.
Thanks
Kathleen
Hi,
Any chance I could get a copy of that too. I’m writing an essay about language teaching and I feel that this would really help me.

Hi Stephen/Deirdre/Kathleen/Orla,
I know it has been three months since the comments were left but I was wondering if any of you would be able to forward me a copy of the book via email also? We are tackling Literacy in our school this year and next, especially in the area of oral language development. I would be very grateful if you could email me as it was recommended.
Thank you,
Olivia.
