The Energy in Education website is one of a range of supports developed by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) in collaboration with the Department of Education and Skills (DES) designed to help school boards of management, principals, teachers, caretaking staff, pupils and parents to improve energy use practices and to reduce school operating costs along with helping to protect the environment for future generations.
SEAI has made available a range of free primary school resources on the Energy in Education website. These include books, lesson plans, quizzes, posters, videos and worksheets. The resources can be searched by class level (junior or senior), by SESE Strand, by type of resource or by whether you want the resource in Gaeilge or English. This is a great resource bank for teachers when planning lessons in the SESE curriculum area.
These resources can be accessed on the Energy in Education website HERE
