The FÍS Film Project is currently thriving in Irish primary schools. The project encourages children to explore the medium of film and develops essential skills in moving-image literacy, communication, teamwork, visual arts and numeracy in addition to a creating an engaging approach to the curriculum.
Each year the participant schools celebrate their achievements at an awards ceremony. Due to the unprecedented standard of entry this year twenty four finalists and thirteen highly commended schools will be awarded prizes in various categories at the awards ceremony which is to be held on the 4th November in the Helix.
Join the festival and support the schools involved by watching a live stream of the event. (Kick off is at 12.30 and the stream will be available on the Project Website
