independent_notation_boards_01This resource is aimed at pupils in junior/middle classes or SEN pupils. It assumes an understanding of the representation of number on a notation board. It focuses on tens and units. Its aim is to assess whether pupils can match the number with the associated notation board.

Laminate all of the pages in the resource. Cut up the images into 12 separate cards. Cut up the number cards on page 3. Adhere Velcro to the spaces under the notation boards and to the rear of the number cards. Pupils then have to match the correct number to each notation board.
