“Drought and Migration in Ethiopia’ is a new drama/development education resource from GOAL Global which uses the methodology of process drama to enable children to learn, through imagined experience, about life in Ethiopia.
This resource is aimed at teachers of the senior classes at primary school. It explores issues such as poverty, hunger, drought and migration. As with Spotlight on South Sudan, a Development Education resource developed by GOAL in 2015, drama is used to explore Development Education themes.
The pack is also very relevant to this year’s World Food Day theme which focuses on changing the future of migration by investing in food security and rural development. (World Food Day is next Monday, October 16th.)
