This week is Science Week, a chance for teachers to place an extra emphasis and focus on science-related activities. If you are stuck for ideas to mark the week there are lots of ideas on the Primary Science website.
You can select a Strand or Strand Unit that you want to focus on and find an activity that matches it. There are lots of science related movies that you can show to pupils. There’s a Planning Guide for Teachers than you can download and use it to help plan your science-related activities. There are lots of great web links to other STEM-related activities under various headings.
