Seomra Ranga has teamed up with UNANIMA International, an NGO based in the UN in New York, to develop this free resource for World Homeless Day on October 10th. The short presentation, which comes complete with a Teacher Guide, aims to stimulate talk and discussion in the classroom as to what Homelessness is.
The causes of Homelessness and what Homelessness looks like are both discussed in the presentation. Pupils’ views on Homelessness may be challenged and they may be provoked into changing these views.
Homelessness is such a current issue both in our own country and in many countries throughout the world. This resource would be the perfect way to discuss the issue on World Homeless Day on Thursday October 10th.
