Our eleven Junior Infants seemed to like the book. They’ve returned to it a number of times in the classroom library. They mostly found it entertaining because the sneaky cat Mipsy needed to be found in every page. Here’s what they had to say:
‘Super duper good, because the cat, Mipsy, she got missing. She ended up going to all over Ireland’ Finn, age 5.
‘Super duper uper uper good, because I liked all the ice-cream she ate.’ Rita, age 4
‘I liked that we had to find Mipsy in the pages and sometimes she was sleeping and it was a bit funny.’ Yasin, age 6.
‘That girl went all the way to the top of Ireland, and Mipsy wasn’t hiding very well from us. We found her.’ Carla, age 5.
