Primary teacher and GAA coach Michael Egan has written four GAA-themed books around a central character, Declan Kirby. The first book in the series, Championship Journey, was first published in March 2021. Michael has kindly allowed us to publish for Free an accompanying work pack which he has created for the first novel.
The work Pack consists of a chapter-by-chapter series of text-related literacy tasks based on pupils’ reading of the novel. It includes:

- Dictionary Work
- Language Activities – including verbs, adjectives, adverbs, synonyms, antonyms
- Art Work
- Research Project
- Other Cross-Curricular ideas for follow-up work on the novel
