The book I just finished reading was called ‘Ireland’s Call’ by the author Paul O’ Flynn. This book was about how Ireland came back from a low of losing instrumental players like Johnny Sexton and Keith Earls. It talked about how Ireland started to embrace younger players within the squad. It went into detail about how Ireland came back from a devastating quarter final defeat at the hands of the mighty All Blacks/New Zealand to the triumph of the 2023 spectacular back to back Six Nations success!

I really enjoyed this book. It was right up my alley! I think anyone who is interested in Irish rugby would be star struck by this wonderful book! There was an amazing flow to the book which made me eager to continue reading. I genuinely enjoyed the book especially the fact that it contained information about many key players.

My favourite part of the book was near the end when the author went into detail about how Ireland grasped victory by the skin of their teeth and the celebrations that came with it! It brought back heartwarming memories of watching the match on television.

I would highly recommend this book for seven to twelve year olds and I would give this book a 10/10!
