I just returned from holiday to receive the news that Seomra Ranga has been nominated for the Blog Awards Ireland 2013 in the Best Science/Education Blog category. Blog Awards Ireland 2013 celebrates the best in Irish blogging with 31 winners being announced at the blog awards event on 12th October 2013 in the Osprey Hotel in Naas. Blog Awards Ireland works to celebrate the very best in Irish blogging.
Seomra Ranga was named in the Long List announced on Monday among 36 blogs in the Science/Education category. Judging of the blogs will now commence and a Short List will be announced on September 8th. A Finalist List will then be announced on September 29th in advance of the awards ceremony on October 13th. Many thanks to those who took the trouble to nominate Seomra Ranga for this award, it’s much appreciated. Congratulations also to other #EdchatIE teachers who have been nominated: Simon Lewis, Donal O’ Mahony, Helen Bullock, John Manley, Evelyn O’ Connor, Julian Girdham and Cathriona Mernagh.
Well done, Damien. I think you’re the one to beat 🙂
Thanks Simon, I’d be delighted to see any of the #EdchatIE folk grab the award!
