The centenary of the start of World War 1 occurs around this time and RTE have put together a website to commemorate the ‘Great War’. The website contains information on different aspects of the conflict from an Irish perspective.
There are video and podcast interviews of people who experienced the conflict at first hand. These are split up into six main sections:

- Seeing Action
- In the Trenches
- The Casualties of War
- The Easter Rising
- The Aftermath
