Starring Meg by Natasha Mac a’ Bháird drew me in after the first few chapters. With Meg’s selfless attitude, Hannah’s responsibility, Ruby’s loyalty and Laura’s creativity, they bind together to change fourth-sixth class children’s perspective on true friendship.
Natasha Mac a Bhaird truly captured the struggle of growing up in a reality stars world, yet still wishing for a normal childhood.
One of the things that this book taught me is that true friends will love you for you and stand by you no matter the circumstance. The drama between Tracey and the girls towards the end of the book really had me thinking about how you should choose your friends carefully in life. All in all, I highly recommend this book for girls who are having trouble finding their place and to realise that they are not alone.
It was a truly amazing book, and I am glad that I got the opportunity to review it.
