Welcome to Seomra Ranga, the Hub for Primary School Resources. For the overseas visitors “Seomra Ranga” means “classroom” in the Irish language.

Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….

Tracing Cards 03

This resource, aimed at younger pupils and pupils with poor fine motor control, contains cards with 25 different patterns for pupils to trace. The cards give pupils great opportunities to practise their fine motor skills and pencil control skills.

This Breakfast Resource Pack is intended to support a theme/topic of work on Breakfast or food/bia. It contains 61 different files with over 900 pages of resource material. The pack contains resources for display in the classroom as well as lots of activities for pupils to complete in both English and Gaeilge.

Dot-to-Dot Number Tracing Book

This resource contains two 12-page booklets focusing on the consolidation of number recognition in the range 0-10, so it would be suitable for junior pupils and/or pupils with additional needs. One booklet gives pupils numbers 1-10 to trace to create the number. The second booklet just has the dots for pupils to trace.

Counting Snowballs

Focusing on the numbers 0-10, this snow-themed numeracy resource can be used to help younger pupils to consolidate their knowledge and understanding of basic number. Pupils have to count the number of snowballs on each card and attach the correct number in the blank box.
