Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….

CVC Picture Matching 04
This resource is aimed at infant pupils or SEN pupils at the beginning of work on phonics. It is based on their knowledge of CVC words with medial O. The resource could be used as a teaching tool or alternatively, it could be used as a form of assessment. There are 12 CVC Word cards for pupils to match the picture with the word.

Flying Kite Art
This is a nice, colourful Visual Arts lesson to do during the summer term. The resource contains a simple, yet effective, line drawing, creating a summer kite pattern which can be coloured using any art medium that you wish, eg. crayons, markers, colouring pencils or paint. The focus of the lesson is on colour and pattern.

“Our Shoes” Appeal Launched
A nationwide campaign has been launched to get Irish primary schools involved in the “Our Shoes” Appeal. The campaign aims to get pupils to collect their pre-loved shoes/boots/runners and donate them to needy children in townships in South Africa. The mission of the campaign is to “bridge continents through the power of individual acts of kindness”. read more…

Easter Bookmarks 2024
These bookmarks are intended to help mark Easter 2024. There are 28 different bookmark designs in the download, 14 in English and 14 as Gaeilge. The bookmarks are in blackline for pupils to colour and decorate and they are printed three per A4 page.

Easter Table Quiz
This Table Quiz, especially put together for Easter, comprises eight rounds of six questions, a Tie-Break Round, Easter Jokes between rounds and answers to all questions on 173 Powerpoint slides. Supplementary resources are also included. It is geared towards pupils in the middle/senior end of the school.
