Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….

Suitable for pupils in middle and senior classes, the picture is done in two stages – creating the background first, followed by adding the tree silhouettes and spooky eyes.

Hallowe’en Dolch Word Mats

Dolch words are a list of 220 “service words” developed in the 1940s by William Dolch. They consist of a series of eleven sets of words which are considered to be vocabulary which occurs most frequently in children’s reading material. This seasonal resource contains each set of words on a single page with a Hallowe’en theme.

Hallowe’en Trail 03

The aim of this seasonal resource is to create an active and fun Hallowe’en activity geared towards pupils in junior/middle classes. There are 26 different cards which pupils have to find on the trail. Each card has a letter and a Hallowe’en image. Pupils have to identify the image and write its name in the correct space on their Answer Sheet.
