Seomra Ranga has been successfully providing tried and tested resources for primary school classrooms since 2007. Since that time, the site has gradually built up a strong following amongst educators as a repository of quality teacher-created resources. The resources on the site, which support all areas of the curriculum, are arranged in accordance with the curricular provisions of the Irish primary school….

Sequencing activities have great benefits for younger pupils, helping them to recognise patterns and understand the logical sequence of events in a story. This resource is aimed at younger pupils and/or AEN/Autistic pupils. It combines practice in sequencing a series of four pictures along with a fine motor activity. There are eight different activities in this pack for pupils to complete the correct sequence.
100 Years of Ireland at the Olympic Games
2024 marks the 100th anniversary of Ireland’s participation in the Olympic Games, since the first one in Paris in 1924. This 20-page display resource gives a brief overview of Ireland’s participation at one of the world’s greatest sporting events. It highlights the sporting moments, medal winners and controversy that have marked our participation.

W. B. Yeats
Yeats Day is celebrated annually in Sligo and around the world on the date of his birthday, June 13th. This resource gives pupils an overview on the life and work of this Irish Nobel poet, W. B. Yeats. Comprising of 34 pages, it details his life from his early childhood experiences in Sligo, to his love for Maud Gonne and his eventual marriage to Georgie Hyde-Lees.
Summer Grid
This seasonal Summer resource is aimed at pupils in middle/senior classes working on co-ordinates from the Shape and Space Strand of the Maths curriculum. It is based on pupils’ ability to work out the co-ordinates of a particular Summer image on the grid. Pupils should have knowledge of these aspects of maths before engaging in this exercise.
Father’s Day Cards
Father’s Day is celebrated annually on the third Sunday of June. To mark the day, this resource consists of a set of black/white Father’s Day cards for pupils to colour. 15 different cards are included in this resource – 10 in English and 5 as Gaeilge. Pupils will enjoy colouring and decorating these cards.

Review of the Year
This resource is aimed at pupils in middle and senior classes as a way of looking back over the academic year. It consists of a 14-page booklet for pupils to complete, illustrate and decorate. It gets pupils to record facts about themselves, their memories of the year, their favourite things and those special moments.
